Last Date :

Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment ...
Railways have more employed implemented for avoid ticketless travel. In our country most of the Railway platforms has not remove the peoples useed things. At the time of travelling, diust put in separate bag attached in every compartment. Next food items eating for the people at travel sticktly orders issue and some waste things put in the path of way. Many northindian train compartment not clean and more dust occupied. Similar stations for at any time you have checkup the tickets in reservation
corruption at railway station platform e.g catering products , robberring is measure setback for passengers
Our railway station are not clean because of their is no dustbins in station
Lets start by no only eliminatin payments to nxt of kin to those killed in these accidents but actually levying huge fines to those who stray across the tracks. The railways i.e. Govt i.e taxpayer should not be made to pay for the stupidity and irresponsible behavior of a few people. Also consider placing RPF personnel at certain high level crossings with orders to shoot at sight anyon crossing the tracks. Hey, those guys are going to die anyway, why cause damage to a train in the process??
Contd. comments here of 01st instant. In JALANDHAR, even at the Manned Railway Level Crossing, majority of people are tempted to cross the Crossing while 'Phatak' is closed, indicative of a coming train. This way such people, remaining quite obvilious of the danger to their own life as well as to the life of their accompanying
near and dear ones, commit an act unworthy of a responsible citizen. SUCH AN ACT CAN'T BE HELD NECESSARY WHATSOEVER REASONS MAY BE ADVANCED BY SO DOERS. BAD WAY.

1. Building Railway overbridges is the permanent solution, more so where heavy vehicular movement is noticed
2. Automated Unmanned Level Crossing System needs to be installed immediately.
3. Special patrol vehicles, with specific radius, for this purpose and overall security be deployed
3.NGO's, Gram panchayats be actively involved in spreading awareness / management.
4. Offenders be strictly punished, their names displayed in public domain
