Belagavi - Towards a Smart City

Start Date :
Sep 24, 2015
Last Date :
Nov 16, 2015
00:00 AM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
Belagavi is the oldest city in Karnataka with a rich history and culture. It is the 4th largest city in the state and the fastest growing urban center. Belagavi is also a business ...
1.TRY TO CREATE HARMONY IN BETWEEN BOTH MARATHI AND KANNADA SPEAKING PEOPLE. AS THE BOTH ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING BELGAUM SMARTER.
2.GREEN AND CLEAN ENVIRONMENT.
3.EFFECTIVE WATER MANAGEMENT, BY ENSURING MINIMAL OR ZERO LEAKAGE FROM PIPELINES AND WATER VALVES.
4.PROPER SANITIZATION, WITH ADVANCED WASTE MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES, BY CREATING ENERGY AND OTHER UTILISABLE FORMS WITH THE WASTE AND GARBAGE.
5.OPENING OF E CENTERS FOR MULTI UTILITY FOR THE PEOPLE.
6.GOOD ROADS WITH BEST TRAFFIC MGMT
Street lights should be Solar Powered LED lights with sensors for automatic switch-on and switch-off technology.
Proper waste management by using that waste to generate electricity.
Transportation should be given much more priority and also education should be main agenda here.and with blessings of VAJPEYE we have good highways around the Belagavi.. and many more small routes need to be corrected.
The railway station should be located outside the city. All the electric connections should be underground. There should be terminal city bus stands at different parts of the city.
Cleanliness should be the first priority. Plastic waste should be used to construct roads. Next 100 percent literacy should be achieved through volunteers participation.
Belagavi city needs a better Traffic management as its very difficult for commuters like students and senior citizens to travel even short distances. Especially near Chenamma circle and Tilakwadi.
The major problems of this city is the railway line that passes through the city and causes traffic and congestion issues.
I suggest that we build a three track elevated railway line , starting to elevate it a kiolmetre before 3rd gate and end at one kilometre after the PB road railway gate.
The station also should be elevated upto 3 -4 mtrs just like Surat station.
No need of any flyover , no need of any major re-allignment.
Use the area below the elevated line for public utility
1)The city should be free of dust as consider health from belt point of people.
2)smart city is not to be noting but seeing large building we have to give basic requirement like 24 hr water, electricity.
3)Don't allowed to selling people to sit to the side of road in order to which we avoid unwanted traffic.
4) Make flyovers whenever more traffic problem is there.
5) Make proper traffic control system.
6)Do not allowed selling people to throw there unwanted things on road the.
1)The city should of free from dust
1)Build smart well furnished govt under taking shopping complex&mauls with proper vehicle parking in the market places by acquiring the private owner lands with compensation 2)BUDA Should Build residential flats in extension areas with all basic facilities around residential area instead of alloting the plots so that traffic&crowd in the city can be control 3)Free wifi facility for few minutes daily helps to communicate with govt offices, to get information & to register their onlin complaints
