In order to equip them to look after their needs, it is necessary to impart skills to them. Most of them are unskilled and this makes their rehabilitation in alternative ...
Sir PM, Poverty is problem and cause is population. It is the biggest problem of our country. May be the root cause of all our problems. All our cities dying due to the traffic. We are thinking for alternate of the transportation, but we do not think towards population improvement. We should learn from our neighbor China. At least we can take steps like giving the benefits of Income Tax to the parents having just one child. If 2 child the tax slab might be a little higher Or something like this.
Govt have to start to aware the people to help this people and also give assurance to people that things will arrive to right people only and not will go to corrupted. People will motivate only if Govt will initiative first in way of Thing Arrive To Right Person Only.
Any scheme to rehabilitate beggars can succeed only,if begging is sealed effectively otherwise no beggar will be attracted towards rehabilitation schemes and leave the luxury of easy money i.e Begging.
Yesterday i was at Ambala cantt railway station, when a young lady with her 2 year old son came to my compartment and asks for money to buy food. Her son has serious infection in his left ear, which if not treated would be proved to be fatal. She told me that there are worms in her son's ear and they have no money for his treatment. Mr. Prime Minister if you can order administration of ambala cantt to treat the little child, it would be a great relieve to me.I am waiting for your reply.
Beggars occupy a lot of area which is Actually not their's instead of giving it to them taking a small part of area in the city and constructing 2 or more high flats with all basic amenities can be done, although with 1 or 2 rooms. after this, government should provide them with jobs such as in construction or labor in factories. After they are all set, government should charge rents.and provide schooling and education for their children. Making their own house will be a great idea !
Here in India i think there is a week financial planning and there is no proper usage of highly available things. The majority of Indians are still poor and the richer ones are became rich more .The people don't know how to spend their money efficiently. So we can abolish the poverty only by adapting a good financial planning. In that the ordinary people also must want to know there prior need and spend their earnings effectively .Make Indians stand on their own legs is right way to develop.
Sir, First we should try to cause of beggar, any forced system to compelling them to be a beggar. We should try to engage them into family planning program so that next generation of them should not fall in the beggar family.
Beggars are one of the main reason for low tourist traffic. Beggars are employed by MAFIA, who steal children and then physically disable them to become beggar. State Governments can put up nice steel boxes with slogan HELP DIFFERENTLY ABLE PEOPLE and use this money to house beggars and get them food. Those who can work are to be given jobs. All pilgrimage site can be made beggar free - Ma Vaisnav Devi is an example which is Beggar FREE. The people who give to beggars can put money in these box
Rehabilitation should be effective and to be in sync with long term vision.
1)Create respectable jobs:Like coconut seller stand, Beads making, which includes little skill but giving some hope on future
2)Impart and induce skills gradually:Bring them on level playing field this way
3)Capital provision norms should be liberal (Bank loans)
4)Distribute infrastructure needed for physically challenged, to make some contribution
5)Entrepreneurial skills will benefit, making them into small groups
