The mandate of the Ministry of Culture is to preserve, promote, explore and share India’s culture and heritage along with ethos and values for the benefit of mankind. For ...
First of all we should be able to filter what is our real culture from many rituals and practices . People are confused . Real culture is what is given in Vedas and it embraces all walks of life . It resontes with सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिन: सरवे सन्तु निर्मय: Which calls for happiness for one and all . Can we truely portray this culture with so many farmers and youth committing suicide Parliamentarians fighting in support of pornography and terrorists entering our country via the drug route
We must go back to basic. School is best place where we can teach our children about cultural. They must have at list three session per week associated with spots, indian culture, value of families, regional values, history of our drama, regional dances etc. This can be promoted through special television programs including private. We must show such programs on day time for our children's on national and private television providers. It must be mandatory for private channels.
compulsory exhibition of cultural highlights of India in Cinema Theater before the show starts , it should not be more than 2 or 3 minutes duration and during prime time television shows
Advertisements on Indian Culture and Heritage during Prime time on Regional/National television channels depicting as one nation.
Indian school texts need to include correct and true information about Indian culture and heritage. Highly missing in today's school textbooks.#IndianCulture,#IndianHeritage, #MinistryofCulture, #MyGov

It is very good service and very popular in rural and semi urban areas of our country.
But I think it need some improvement to make it complete entertainment box. Like optional paid channel option should be add great value. Like sports channel, some daily soap and informative channels make it complete and competitive in the market. And I am sure that it will become market leader.
1.DD news can organise a quiz on a particular heritage centre and the one who gives the accurate answers be given concession on his travel expenses.
2.Can take organise quiz with the people travelling at the place and ask them questions about that particular heritage this will increase the interest among people siting at home.media can also organise similar quiz with the viewers and lucky winners be given chance to travel to that place.

The Financial aspects of such fests are most important, as the artists/talent will be attracted by this only.
#MinistryofCulture #MinistryofTourism #MinistryofHRD #MyGov can work together to showcase #IncredibleIndia to the world
Maybe Holding district level fests Sound Utopian, But just imagine a fest every week in 1 or more districts of a state, managed at high standards,Local newpaers and channels giving full coverage to them, throughout the year.Imagine

Analyzing of these district level competitions (as there will be too many-688 districts) can be done again remotely by elite intellectuals of music and dance. These fests should be promoted to and by local schools and colleges. Involving our kids and youth in these fests will connect them to there roots.
What I am providing is a very rough sketch. But There are many able persons which can elaborate and develop this Idea of Cultural fests
