How can we enhance the participation of youth in Politics and Governance?

Start Date :

Suggest ways to enhance youth participation in politics and governance.
Last date for sending your suggestions is 31st December, 2014.
6. Encourage political parties to set minimum precautions such that political activity doesn't cause students to lose out on studies
7. Encourage all universities to include classes on Indian polity, sociology, political theory and ideology in general for every student at college level (maybe 1 lecture a week by a PS-IR lecturer). This would build political consciousness in students that is often their greatest lacuna. This should be dealt with like EVS is dealt with now.
8. Exclude criminals
1. Ban political parties from student politics
2. Make the minimum age for entry into student politics 18 years
3. Ban overt or covert external funding or support for student political organisations in institutions. Student election should be solely fought by words and without funding
4. Enforce minimum attendance and marks criteria for contesting student elections
5. Stipulate maximum number of days that students can engage in political rallies in a month (maybe once a month) on campus
Sir u have to make amendments to the election laws 1)Right to elect president&governors:it is the prese nt necessity.president elected at loksabha elections&governors electe d at assembly election for 5year te em by the people 2)Right to Recall: inelijeble representation should be curbed.intrduc yearly review online elections to repesentatives.if % of voters that r elected a representa tive get reversed in review electio ns thenrepresentation cancelled den consecutive loosers getrepresntat ation
To do so...
Their are lot of serial come on the t.v which will followed by the youth it will also effect the thinking of our generation.
So government have to show such serial by which different leader of our country should fight for their mother land and give those ideas and thinking to the youth which change their thinking ability and it will also give better effect on coming generation. Which make our society and country at a great level.
In small towns, political leaders show faces near elwctions and vanish after elections. There should be some website where small complaints could be done about roads are broken, nagar palika has not done safai etc. These small issues look small but are to be looked up by these ward members. There should also be online news about happenings in that particular areas, town etc and some suggestion achemes and also there should be proper complaint resolutions for small isaues.
sir, made manadatory to vote in election first.2nd thing there are so many who moved away from there hometown to other cities in search of jobs then there vote share is unutilized & youths are moving in a greater way for jobs outside hometown so design a system or lawws so that such youths can vote in elections & there partcipation will incearse tremendously.
For kind attention of the PM, ministers/MPs.

Respected Modi Ji, The very first step that should be taken to encourage and enhance the participation of the youth in politics and in good governance is to motivate the youngster by appointing the active member of the party as a leader from the area He/She belongs to which will not only encourage the person being appointed but it will also encourage the others to participate actively with a view that He/She can also get a chance to be elected as a Leader from the area they belongs to.
