It's duty of IR to see for proper sources of facilities for citizens such that if the condition comes of increasing revenue to enhance the comfort and reliability of journey, IR should take up the step but it should be kept in mind that proper care of citizens has to be taken . If all such things happens then there is no objection in increasing reveue sources.
It is good but the available resources and manpower should be best utilised first . Accountability be fixed and more facilities in the line of developed countries be provided .
Increasing rates by Govt. departments is not a solution to any problem. Increasing rate of railways is not justified at all. rather Govt should concentrate on better management. There is no management of any type in any of the Govt. departments now a days.
I love to grow in structure and fashion as able, but to exceed the limit is a pressure on people who cannot afford it, because the government cannot afford it, Why tax people, it is better late than at the cost of people. What would a person do if he earns a limited income and has to spend more than, it will be stress not peace. So the railways can easily tax the people more and more even if they cannot afford it. I like to do many things for the need but am I able to get things done?

1)Rest room should be charged hour basis,& should be available online.Hotel / Restoration for vagitrain & nonvagitrain food should be separated
2) Providing timely deliveries of Goods.where possible double decker wagon should be used.
1.Trains to be used for advertising. One complete train or route can be given for advertising if got good amount of bid.
2. the station should have multi story building with lift facility and make classic, general and luxury accommodation for passengers on payment based on staying hours. It gives the passengers opportunity to get short time comfortable stay with quickly reaching facility to concerned train on its arrival. Other comfort facility may be provided like awakening by the staff.
Non tariff sources revenue from business model auction/tendering of sites, place, location at all railway locations for commercial exploitation and best money for value returns to government and the user in all segments for their growth will multiply and give satisfying scalable resources and results in economies of our vast railway network. The same can also build safety, security and all required necessary infrastructure support with best business solutions and spreading awareness messages.

Can we lease the train tracks to private companies? For e.g.charging Rs. 100 per km of travel. This means that companies can run their private trains on tracks whilst they are not in use by the government trains.
