Taking the vision of the new National Education Policy (NEP) as envisioned under the dynamic
leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, the Government of India has developed the National Credit Framework (NCrF) to enable the integration of academic and vocational domains to ensure flexibility and mobility between the two. NCrF would be a game changer by opening numerous options for further progression of students and inter-mingling of school and higher education with vocational education and experiential learning, thus mainstreaming skilling and vocational education. NCrF will also enable students who have dropped out of mainstream education to re-enter the education ecosystem.

NCrF will seamlessly integrate the credits earned through school education, higher education, and
vocational and skill education by encompassing the National Higher Education Qualification Framework (NHEQF), National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and National School Education Qualification Framework (NSEQF). It also supports educational acceleration for students with gifted learning abilities and Recognition of Prior Learning for the workforce that has acquired knowledge and skills informally through the traditional family inheritance, work experience or other methods. The inclusive umbrella framework aims to make the options for Multiple Entry-Multiple Exit accessible and applicable across higher education, school education and vocational education, allowing students to choose their own learning trajectories and programmes.

The framework has been jointly developed by a committee constituted by the Government with members from UGC, AICTE, NCVET, NIOS, CBSE, NCERT, Department of School Education and Literacy & Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, DGT, and Ministry of Skill Development under the guidance of Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

The Government is inviting comments and observations by the 30th of November on the document
which is available in the link below for download.

National Credit Framework is one of the best formulated policy prepared by eminent domain experts. It is a reformative regulation based on the contemporary requirements for the benefit of students. Initially may be people just comment it is just a new system someone like and dislike as usual. But going through the entire policy with full concentration to comprehend, it can be said a total transformational and also taking some future years in consideration. I have found it new cyber era background. We have to enhance the features as per requirement. My personal view is to make it world standard. Our ancient treasure of knowledge we have forgotten just because of slavery nature. People feel pride if their ward take admission in any Christian school or college. Just compare in our country there are many who has memorised completely Ramcharitamanas, Gita, etc. I do not think anybody Christian can claim that he has memorised the Bible. Our efforts should be to claim our lost glory.

Greetings Prime Minister Modi, I am Gyan Ganesh Banjan, a proud citizen of Bharat studying in grade 12 in Alva's PUC. Since 2014, I have been listening to all your speeches and every time I listen to them, I proudly believe that my country will make it to the top spot in the world stage. I am very touched by your support towards the startups of our nation. Recently, I shifted to the rural side of India for my 11th and 12th education. When I came to Mangalore, I noticed a lot of changes in the education system of the state board as compared to that of the other International standard boards. The distinctive style of uniforms, different decorum of classrooms, different dated technology in use, etc. But the main difference I noticed was that in textbooks. The textbooks used in state boards schools remain the same for a minimum of 7 years because of which students prefer borrowing old books from elderly cousins or seniors since paying a sum of Rs.200/- textbook didn't seem like an economic

Namaste ji. Skilled Trainings are the important focus in NEP other than academic activities. Swach Bharat,Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and Agnipat are major initiatives for our country's Development which was introduced by our Honourable PM. If Trainings conducted with the options from the selective students who are interested, it'll give more enthusiasm for students. First Aid certification may be mandatory in Skill based Courses. myGOV platform is posting Positive messages about daily progress of our country. If myGOV clubs started in all academic institutions,it will boost active participation of students in the myGOV competitions. If possible, please try to introduce in NEP. Jai Hind

Namaste ji. NEP is a great revolution and initiatives of our Honourable PM and Ministry of Education. Till now we have to spread awareness about NEP for the implemention in more Educational Institutions. To strengthen the vision of our Honourable PM on NEP, more exhibitions may be conducted by Centrally funded Institutions with Displaying the achievements of skill based Education. Definitely it will increase the hopes of students and parents. Highlights of NEP will spread the success to the country and world. Please make it sir. Jai Hind
