Under the provisions of the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act, 2015 and Rules made thereunder, the Central Government is considering to auction coal mines for commercial mining. ...
coal is one of the most important natural resource which we are having for production of electricity.and instead our government can think of switching over to solar energy and make optimum use of it.this commercial mining in the hands of private players may hold good if full transparency is maintained by both the sides.
Coal is not a green energy source its a non renewable energy. as the private companies abuse the resources if they have complete control therefore their should be strict restrictions for commercial mining companies
The sun is source of energy. The world must turn to solar, the power of future. India should have only one name i. e Bharat. Before entrusting the land for excaluation. It should be ensured that the displayed people and wildlife are properly rehabiliatated with all basic necessities like home, water, hospital, electricity, roads, school etc. This must not left to the state govt but ensured by the centre beforehand through proper inspection and certification.
At the present situation there are lots of illegal mining happening inspite of all the rules and regulations undertaken. So it's necessary to take proper steps before auction
Coal is one of the vital natural resources for production of electricity if it is put for auction for commercial mining then it might have severe impacts as there mag be over excavation of the coal, there are chances of illegal tradingtrading, the cost of electricity may go high it is costly for middle class and lower class people. So it is better the Government itself take care of the coal mining.
Auction of coal mines for commercial mining is not good, if the private player got into the coal mining sector and pricing of coal, since the coal is the major source for power generation the increase in the price of coal directly effect the increase in the price of electricity. That would badly effect the rural area power supply they wont be able to afford the new price. The lighting up of india will be effected in due process atleast the pricing of coal should be regulated by the government.
Prime Minsiter Modi said at the International solar Alliance meet, that he was encouraged by the industry support for solar energy and that “The sun is the source of all energy. The world must turn to solar, the power of our future”.
We should take this view seriously and plan and implement Solar and other renewable energy systems, not only bigger capacity projects but also Mini and Micro grids by people’s participation as is done in Germany. Coal should be minimized to the barest extent
IT IS NECESSARY THAT THE USERS/COMPANIES IN Need OF A COAL MINE BE ALLOTTED TO ALLOW RUN SMOOTHLY. THE IDEA OF COAL ACTION IS GOOD BUT IT BE SURED ALLOWED ONLY TO ACTUAL USERS. THANKS
Hi,
Our country has huge hidden potential of Solar energy. Almost whole India gets ample amount of sunlight. On one hand we can setup mega solar parks and other side we can encourage people to use rooftop solar power by subsidising solar panels. Another thing is once mines are left out, its a waste land. We can utilise these lands to occupy solar parks instead of getting agricultural land. If you like the Idea give Thumps up.
Regards,
Prabhu
