For transport road as well as rail link to Diu is very pathetic likely Rajkot-Veraval-Una-Rajula-Bhavnagar-Baroada/ Ahmedabad. I am seeing this road link since my childhood very upset and still same situation , why can't we Indian make good and smooth road. this link will also greatly helped for sasan gir tourism. Further Rail link is also worst with meter gauge which was constructed during british period and local M.P also never bother it. Why can't we construct this link with broad gauge rail.

SMART City must Have SMART Goal(Specific, Measurable,Attainable,Realistic & Time related). As Diu is tourist Place We need to focus on to reduce hurdle on tourism. Like Road Connectivity, Waste management. We have to think on long term benefit to people and tourist.

citizen safety is in hand of law protector, but few, not all works against it for their benefit. each public area and road should be connected through cctv. if smoking is ban in public area and public bus then it should be seen seriously. swacch bharat and for any smart city , cleanliness only can come through strict rules ,law and regulation..

for convenience of citizen, solution lie in e- gov. Each government premise and institute should connected to web portal which should be regulated be central government as well as anti corruption bureau. Each government work should produce acknowledgement receipt should mention duration of work done finished and government should create feedback agency who can contact respective citizen for their suggestion for any work done by government office.
