1. ENHANCE SOCIAL-CULTURAL IDENTITY - The ABD is potentially a hub for tourists due to concentration of hotels and local markets. Augmentation of on-site Infrastructure in select locations within the ABD is therefore proposed to enhance citizen and tourist experience to reflect upon the city’s socio-cultural identity. These include:
• Creation of “ Night Markets”, Meurals and Street Art all over the ABD on outer Fascia of public building
• Laser Shows and Cultural events at select sites within the ABD
• Tourist Facilitation Centre (integrated with tourism app.) at Prayag Station which encounters maximum tourism influx.

2. REVAMPING THE ECONOMIC BASE – ABD will be the premise for developing the future city of Allahabad as an Urban Centre and aims to rejuvenate certain old, but economically active areas of the city by tying them together with a common set of infrastructure assets. This will primarily involve
• Development of incubation centers within the Allahabad University to support Start-ups
• Development of dedicated vending zones across the ABD
• Mixed use planning for encouraging development of commercial complexes besides residential buildings

3. IMPROVING ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
• It is proposed to improve use of public transport, NMT and para-transit modes of travel
• Water recycling through rainwater harvesting at community level and recharge pits is proposed across ABD
• 100% door to door collection with segregation across ABD
• Share of energy from renewable resources (waste to energy and solar power)

4. ENSURING INTERNET CONNECTIVITY CITY - Internet connectivity will be the backbone of the ABD. It is therefore proposed to provision 100% OFC and FTTH coverage within the ABD through BSNL. Public Wifi Zones are also proposed to be an integral part of ABD.

5. INCLUSION, ACCESSABILITY AND SAFETY
• The proposed ABD will encompass building 1100 dwelling units for slum rehabilitation to encourage inclusion of urban poor.
• ABD will feature a dedicated bus transit system (22KM long bus loop), street improvement in congested areas (Katra) and integration of feeder services is proposed to improve accessibility
• Multi-level car parks proposed to reduce congestion on roads due to parking encroachments
• CCTV surveillance, Dial 100 - a new police service will be expanded with greater points
• SafetiPin app to provide citizen access to emergency support and also to report any issues of concerns related to public facilities by clicking photographs.
