India is proud to host the AI Impact Summit 2026, a landmark global event announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister at the France AI Action Summit. Building on the momentum of Bletchley Park, Seoul, and Paris, the Summit will mark a strategic shift, from action to measurable impact, in global AI cooperation.
The Summit envisions a future where AI delivers real impact, advancing inclusive growth, social development, and a healthier planet. It aims to ensure that AI innovation and governance reflect the diverse realities, languages, and development priorities of both emerging and advanced economies.
Bringing together governments, industry leaders, researchers, startups, civil society, and international organizations, the Summit will chart a shared vision for harnessing AI responsibly, for good, and for all. The Summit will help bridge the AI divide and enable all communities, especially in the developing world, to shape and benefit from the future of AI.
To ensure the Summit is grounded in public priorities and stakeholder insight, the Government of India invites inputs from citizens, students, researchers, startups, civil society, and domain experts. Your feedback will help shape the themes, focus areas, and key deliverables of the Summit.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), through IndiaAI (an independent Business Division under the Digital India Corporation), in collaboration with MyGov, is inviting inputs to help shape the discourse, themes, and outcomes of the AI Impact Summit 2026. Your views will ensure the Summit reflects national and international priorities and delivers meaningful, inclusive, and actionable outcomes.

Our ideas have been structured in two ways: 1. Ideas in the run-up to the Summit 2. Ideas as part of the main Summit. Further, our ideas have been shaped with multistakeholderism, India’s unique global position, and strategic soft power in mind, while offering tangible international value. The Future of Privacy Forum is a global non-profit organization that serves as a catalyst for privacy leadership and scholarship for advancing principled and pragmatic data practices in
support of emerging technologies (see: https://fpf.org/global/india/). We offer these 3 themes, around which Summit activities may be organized:
(1) Building Safe and Trusted AI through Privacy Enhancing Technologies: Discussions could examine the need for R&D, standardization, and adoption of PETs.
(2) Internal Governance for Adopting AI: Discussions could examine building public-private alignment on AI governance tools, such as impact assessments.
(3) Safety and Governance for AI Agents and other Emerging Paradigms: Discussions could examine a balanced and adaptive approach to risk management for new paradigms, like AI agents.
We would be happy to connect with MeitY to discuss further, answer any questions, explore knowledge-sharing opportunities, or be of further assistance as needed.
Legal Domain is one area where Gen AI can be used to increase the operational efficiency of the Legal System . Huge Back log of cases can be reduced to a large extent . I am one of the co founders of Start Up Intellect US AI Labs at B "lore . We have developed few use cases . Plans to scale up the application . A ONE PAGER of what we have developed is attached with this comment . Would like this area as one of the Tracks in the Conference.
