The traditional crops and rubber plantation are destroyed due to low price insufficient to the rubber plantation development . When other countries in rubber cultivation is giving large subsidies is the result of low price of rubber is ignored by rubber board , industries and goverment in India is giving do and die situation for a farmers especially Rubber growers and work force of rubber plantation As rubber taping cannot be done.by.nachines and only.by tappers and workforce , ignoring the workforce demand and wages are increasing making lot of spending of mone

     Georgie s cherian
    3 years 1 week ago

As rubber tapping cannot be done machines the wages of rubber tappers had increased from 10 paise to 2 to 4 Rs per tree , so a tapper get a monthly income from 10000 Rs to 15000 Rs per month which is affordable for a planters or grower to pay at this price with other expense of fertilizers that is increased to 1250bRs per 50kg packet . As the commodities of rubbers are brought from shops at higher price now along with the tapper wages is making less profit to planters for a period of 10 years made goverment to introduce subsidy of 150 Rs which is not affordable if not raised to Rs 250 base price of rubber .
