Talkathon on Road Safety

As part of the advocacy campaign for road safety, Road Safety Week is being observed from 11th to 16th January 2016. The theme for this year's Road Safety week is "Road Safety- Time for Action". In order to contribute to the cause by promoting the concept, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is organizing “Talkathon” with Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways and Shipping, Shri Nitin Gadkari wherein the Minister will directly interact with twitterati by answering the questions posted with #AskonRoadSafety.

The Talkathon programme is scheduled to be held on 11th January, 2016 from 6 PM onwards. The event will be live streamed on the Youtube channel of I&B Ministry- youtube.com/inbministry (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKvOlN6UmTU). The program would be live from National Media Centre, New Delhi.

Over one lakh persons lose their lives every year in our country in road accidents, causing loss of human lives and property and trauma to the family of the deceased. Recognizing the severe impact of road accidents on global health, the UN General Assembly has adopted 2011-2020 as the Decade of Action for Road Safety and set a goal for reducing fatalities from road accidents by 50 percent during the period.

Road Infrastructure is the same whereas Populations, vehicle, way of living (one family more than one car) so why not change so far?? 1.escalator require 2.restrictions for per family no. of vehicle 3.road rules to be followed otherwise high level economical penalty- Pura Hindustaan Sunegs-kuch tum chalo kuch hum chale-manzil mil hi jayegi.

I noticed that all o Polices/schemes regarding pensions form our banks and private organizations are not suitable and beneficial for customers, these all are more beneficial for banks.
Here in Saudi Arab they provide very good pension schemes for studies. Then why Indian banks and organizations are not able to do the same even we are more capable then studies.
I am looking forward for your favorable action for all NRIs at retirement.
Thanks and Regards

Dear Sir,
We are NRIs; we earn for our families as well as for our country. We spend our golden time outside our country and far from our families and the reason you know. We all know, country is not capable and our leaders are not willing to provide their service to county/nation honestly and sincerely. I don’t know our present government has planned to do something meaningful and good for NRIs retirement. Any pension scheme especially for NRIs after retirement.
