The National Health Authority under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is organizing a Comic Strip Contest on MyGov on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri - Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY). The main objectives of the Comic Strip Contest are to:
1. Create awareness among the citizens about the scheme and benefits of AB PM-JAY
2. Promote an understanding of the relevance of the scheme
Design and submit comic strip featuring the beneficiary as the main character depicting the treatment requirement in hospital settings, memorable conversations, heart-warming interactions or any significant impact of the scheme. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your artistic skills while celebrating the accessible and free healthcare for the marginalised section of the society, even in the remotest areas of the country.
Guidelines:
(1) Theme: The comic strip should focus on real or imaginative experiences related to AB PM-JAY. It should highlight how beneficiary has received treatment, memorable hospital interactions, or significant impacts of the scheme on his/her life. Creativity in showcasing the scheme’s relevance is encouraged. Additionally, this contest provides an opportunity to showcase how the scheme is making healthcare accessible and free for those in need.
(2) Length: The comic conversation must be no longer than 7 boxes, including all images and dialogues.
(3) Word Limit: The text within the comic (dialogue, narration, etc.) should not exceed 50 words in total across the entire strip, allowing for a balance between images and storytelling.
(4) Format: Participants are encouraged to submit simple, hand-drawn or digitally created comic strip. The artwork should be clear and legible when scanned.
(5) Medium: Use any medium - whether it’s pencil, pen, markers, or digital tools. Scan hand-drawn artwork or submit digitally created comics.
(6) Submission: Submit your artwork as a PDF, high-resolution image file (JPG, PNG), or as a scanned copy of your hand-drawn comic. Ensure that the text in your comic is legible.
