As a part of the Independence Day Celebrations 2025, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens to participate in a Painting Competition on the theme "New India, Empowered India". This initiative aims to raise awareness about the recent developments and achievements of our nation, showcasing India’s progress across key sectors. From advancements in science and technology to strides in infrastructure, education, and defence, this competition offers a platform for artists to creatively depict the spirit of a strong, self-reliant India.

Let your creativity shine as you portray how India continues to transform and empower every citizen under the vision of a "New India."

Participation Guidelines:
Participants are to showcase paintings on the theme "New India, Empowered India" depicting recent developments and achievements of India.

Gratifications:
1. Top 3 short listed winners will be awarded prize money of Rs. 10,000/- each.

2. Top 200 participants along with one companion (spouse/guardian/relative etc.) would be issued e-invitation to witness Independence Day Celebration to be held on 15th August, 2025 at Red Fort, Delhi.
