National Book Trust, India, is glad to announce the results of the All-India Contest organized on the Theme ‘National Movement of India’ under the PM-YUVA Mentorship Scheme as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. As per the Scheme, 75 Authors were to be selected through this contest for a Scholarship-cum-Mentorship Scheme for the young authors below the age of 30 years.

Over the past seven years, our government has taken giant strides in simplifying and integrating disparate policies and procedures to accelerate development. GST simplified the taxation of goods and services while Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mudra brought in instant Direct Benefit Transfer into bank accounts. The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, UDAN, Jal Marg Vikas, industrial and freight corridors, the Bharatmala, and Sagarmala projects have given a big boost to the infrastructure and industrial prowess of the country.

Ministry of Education and MyGov organized the Mentoring YUVA Quiz to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence as part of the ongoing ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. It also aimed at spreading awareness about YUVA (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors) amongst aspiring young authors and writers. The quiz comprised of enlightening questions on famous authors and writers, books, and novels. The quiz was held from 15th June 2021 to 31st July 2021 on the MyGov Quiz platform and received an overwhelming response, with more than 68.4K citizens participating from across the country!

On the occasion of “Rashtriya Poshan Maah” in the month of September 2021 “Poshan 2.0 Quiz” was organized by NCERT,in collaboration with Ministry of Education and MyGov to spread information and awareness regarding food, nutrition, healthy eating practices, balanced diet and importance of handwashing etc which strives to reduce the level of under-nutrition, low birth weight in children and anemia in adolescent girls, pregnant women, lactating mothers as well as children.
