The Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS) under Ministry of Jal Shakti in collaboration with MyGov hosted the Tap Water – Safe Water Awareness Challenge, from 29th July 2024 to 30th October 2024. This citizen-centric initiative invited participants to submit innovative multimedia campaign ideas to promote awareness about clean and safe drinking water, in alignment with the objectives of the Jal Jeevan Mission – Innovate India.

State Government has launched a new scheme under ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward classes welfare Department, Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Scheme with an aim to reduce dropout rate among ST students. Named in honor of Madho Singh Bariha, a courageous tribal leader from Ghess in Bargarh district who waged guerrilla warfare against British colonial forces during the 1857 uprising, this scheme commemorates his legacy of resilience and empowerment.

The Government of Odisha has launched the Lakhpati Didi Sahayika Yojana, a transformative program aimed at empowering rural women by fostering entrepreneurship and enhancing sustainable livelihoods. Anchored in the state’s commitment to women’s empowerment and poverty alleviation, this initiative aligns with national objectives under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihood Mission (DAY-NRLM). Government’s focus on the economic growth of women in self-help groups through the “Lakhpati Didi Initiative,” aiming to make women members earn an income of one lakh rupees annually, with a target of creating 25 lakh “Lakhpati Didis” by 2027. As on 18th June 2025, 16.60 lakh Lakhpati Didis created across the state.

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), the implementation agency of Vikaspedia, in collaboration with MyGov organized the Logo and Tagline Contest for Vikaspedia initiative from 4th March 2025 to 13th April 2025. In response, 833 entries were received. The efforts of all the participants are well appreciated. Vikaspedia is a Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) initiative that aims to advance an AI-augmented digital ecosystem to accelerate the availability and accessibility of digital information in Indian languages to empower citizens and catalyze digital transformation. The initiative fosters collaboration among diverse stakeholders within a dynamic digital ecosystem, leveraging technology, capacities, and knowledge enablers to create and disseminate citizen-centric e-information effectively.

As part of the National Road Safety Month 2025, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and the Indian Road Safety Campaign (IRSC) in collaboration with MyGov organized the “Poster Making Competition for Road Safety” to engage citizens in promoting road safety through creative visual storytelling. With the theme “Road Safety”, the competition invited participants to create vibrant and impactful posters highlighting various aspects of road safety—ranging from the importance of helmets and seatbelts, to safe driving practices, pedestrian and cyclist safety, youth education, and Good Samaritan behavior.
