The Arunachal Pradesh Court Fees Bill 2023- Towards an Efficient Justice System

The state of Arunachal Pradesh, since the beginning had been abiding by the Court Fee Act, 1870 for all its fees payable to the High Court and Subordinate Courts of Arunachal Pradesh, as per the Assam Court Fees (Amendment) Act, 1972. However, in light of a statement by the Union Law and Justice Ministry in March of 2023, the Court Fee Act, 1870, governed by the Central Govt, is being proposed to be repealed owing to it being a pre-independence and pre-constitution law.

In an effort to raise awareness and encourage the traditional usage and consumption of millets, the National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (NIScPR)- Scientifically Validated Societal Traditional Knowledge (SVASTIK) and MyGov organized an activity “Share Your Traditional Millet Recipe and Ingredients” from 26 June 2023 to 31 August 2023. The objective of this initiative was to invite individuals to submit traditional recipes that incorporate millets.
