Digital Locker is one of the key initiatives under the Digital India Programme. A beta version (http://digitallocker.gov.in) of the same has been released on 10th Feb. 2015, by Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India.

Digital Locker is aimed at minimizing the usage of physical documents and enable sharing of e-documents across agencies. The sharing of the e-documents will be done through registered repositories thereby ensuring the authenticity of the documents online. Residents can also upload their own electronic documents and digitally sign them using the e-sign facility. These digitally signed documents can be shared with Government organizations or other entities.

Key features of the Digital Locker System are:

• 10 MB of free space in digital locker to residents to access their documents through Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and also securely store e-documents.
• e-sign online service to digitally sign documents

Residents are invited to use the Beta version of the Digital Locker System and provide suggestions and feedback on the same. Suggestions are also invited on the use cases for services which can be additionally provided by the Digital Locker System.

The main problem of the govt is errosion in sales tax. To plug this loop hole a soft ware should be developed in cloud by the govt and all bills by business establishment , companies shoyld be done through the central server and a bill should be given to the customer. The will result in increase in revenue to the govt.separate code should be gibven to all establishment to access the site to print the bill. The govt can verify the income, tax etc of every establishment..

We saw the private management schools are leading ahead over Govt schools . The teachers and the supportive staff are very fair and hardworking personnel @1000 to 3000 per month. They prove themselves . But we experienced more that the govt mechanism is really very lazy and unwillingness to work , simple because they are very secure to take the salary and other benefits once they entered in the govt job .
So plz reforms it .
