Today in India there is a wide disparity in terms of awareness and access to digital services and technologies, share your thoughts on how the Government and various stakeholders ...
Establish a cloud platform that is used by centre and states collectively.
A Cloud platform based on opensource software and commodity(are cheap) CPU ,storage and networking components.
Centre and States should collaborate on Application development since many states use applications with minor differences.
The cloud and collaboration will greatly reduce costs.
1) Pan India Optical fiber network
2) Cheaper smart phones. Cheaper large displays(LED) make e-learning, e-medicine etc.. in villages viable.
2) Make applications available in regional languages.
3) Digital Litrecy.
4) A public Cloud programming interface in open source languages(like Java ,PHP, Python, Ruby etc..) and databases(like mysql, MongoDB etc..)
Any developer who want to contribute to application can collaborate on cloud.
All government employ name with designation should be updated online with photo according to region and department in anti corruption website where people can report complete against the officer. Which can be monitored by government.degitel India can be used against corruption
It can be solved with good innovation. Actually, I am doing it in education & learning area for the past 5+ years. Biggest hurdle in my experience is, most of the innovation is from young entrepreneurs who understand what is at the ground level and know how to make it work. But, Government only talks to Big organizations (who only want to sell a product they have) and don't want to talk to these 'small' people.
Resolving this is the key.
ADDING TO THE LAST SUDGESSION I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT THE GOV.COULD COLLABORATE WITH EXISTING PRIVATE DTH PLAYERS AS THEY TOO ARE ALREADY PRESENT IN MANY AREAS ...THE SAME DISHES ALREADY INSTALLED COULD BE USED TO CATCH DIRECT INTERNET SIGNALS FROM THE SATELLITE THUS USING THE ALREADY IN PLACE DTH INFRASTRUCTURE THIS WILL HELP REDUCE COST OF REACHING MORE OFF THE GRID LOCATIONS
sir Our country already has the capability of launching communication satellites up to two and a half tons we are very close to achieving capability of launching 4 ton communication satellite ...it is my idea that the way dth is used to stream data to television Sets the same way these heavy communication satellite can be used to directly stream data of Internet two parts of india which are inaccessible to wired broadband Internet..... all that needs to be done is installing one dIsh and a modem
For the upcoming generation we can have a medium to connect to the digital world.we can start it from school,we can provide them with a adhaar profile from school level itself and it is the schools responsibility to make there profile updated and also let students and there parents know about it ,as I have seen parents will connect better in this way because of our Indian culture, parents take a lot of interest in there children studies and this can be a medium to connect them.
I think that by eliminating income tax from online share trading by increasing STT would benefit people, govt, economy in a large scale. As more and more people can freely trade, invest in share. So they will feel to convert their black money to white, thus increasing transparency and ease of doing business online i.e, digitally.
