While the general participation rates in higher education has been steadily increasing and today our HE GER is 21.5%, this is not evenly spread across social groups and women. ...
Higher Education:
2. Quality of Regulation:
- There has to be a “Central Cell” to monitor that the rules stated above are implemented without any deviation. It must be made sure that people with same level of experience and qualifications are not placed at different pay scales, which affects seniority and respect in the profession.
……….more follows…...
Higher Education:
Governance Reforms:
- Promotional avenues should be so well designed with the respect to growth in academic/research organizations that it attracts more and more bright Indian nationals to enter into academia. This will mitigate so-called faculty crunch in various institutes.
- Administrative responsibilities must be uniformly distributed among all the Grade-A officers in a given organization.
Higher Education:
Governance Reforms:
- All the rules have to be very much well defined. For example, faculty recruitment rules. It has to be kept on mind that revised rules by no means would affect the existing faulty members who joined any organization under previous rules.

………….to be continued.

School Education:
2. Revamping Teacher Education:
- Mandatory training programmes on recent developments, teaching conferences for exchange of ideas etc. should be organized once every year.
………to be continued.
Charity begins at home. Like that gender equality should start from homes. Govt should spread the message thru various media channels insisting the elders of the family to learn the values of gender equality and stop discriminating against female children. A girl is some one else's treasure - this should go and families should think " A girl is our family treasure" and give her all the nurtures and respect given to a male child
There are many problems in the educational system of our country. at first there are many vacancies in educational institutes needs to be filled first. secondly, govt should emphasize on quality education. it is worry for india that no university/institutes are in best 100 place internationally. our educational system should be more hand on experience rather written examination based. new educational system should make efficient students. unemployment is not a problem rather employ-ability is.
Regarding new education policy, more employment need to be created to motivate for higher education. In this regard, the employment exchange offices across the country should be more activated in terms of increasing no of workers and working from root level. Employment exchange office should work with collaboration of panchayat/block to collect the actual information on the no of unemployment. after that govt should start some programme for their self employment depending on their qualification.
