LPG is a dominant cooking fuel of urban population and also, steadily penetrating in rural areas replacing other traditional sources of fuel which included fire wood, cow dung, coal, etc.

There are nearly 17 crore LPG consumers in the country with average refill of 35 lakh cylinders per day. The reach of LPG connections as well as providing timely services to the consumers has always kept in pace with the technological innovations. Provision of timely services and attending the grievances of the consumers continues to be critical for consumers’ satisfaction.

Available Web as well as Mobile phone based applications are extensively used to enable the new customers to get LPG connections and the existing customers to avail services. The Ministry has been taking all measures to leverage the Digital India initiative to make it more consumers friendly.
Presently, following citizen friendly services are being offered for the prospective and existing LPG consumers.

•Book Cylinder through IVRS -– allows consumer to book refill through their registered mobile number.
•Track Refill – It’s both Web and App based facility which shows consumer last 3 booking & delivery date
•Know Your Distributor –Web based facility provides distributor name, address, contact no , Sales officers name & email id
•Talk to Us – connects to call centre managed round the clock.
•Request for 2nd cylinder – allows consumer with single cylinder connection to request for additional cylinder.
•Mechanic Service – allows consumer to register request for mechanic service.
•Surrender connection – allows consumer to register request for surrendering connection.
•Rate your distributor – allows consumer to rate distributor on 5 service parameters, which enables the consumer to ascertain the quality of services provided by the distributor.
•Bank Detail – allows consumer to update Bank details for becoming Cash Transfer Complaint to avail the subsidy under ‘PaHal’ scheme.
•Opt out of Subsidy – provides option to ‘GiveItUp’ of LPG subsidy.
•Feedback Status – allows consumer to check status of any feedback submitted earlier

Ministry further wants to bring new innovations/improvement in services provided with an aim to enhance ‘quality’ of the services provided and transparency in transactions. Therefore, suggestions/creative inputs are solicited from the all the stakeholders on improving the services using communication platforms.

Sir, i have a indane gas Connection my Consumer no 4661 in OM SHIV SHAKTI INDANE Rewari Haryana when i login on line my Consumer Login Account , My Account show Deactivate, i again Consumer Registration but show my consumer no is already registration, i contact my Distributor many time but they can,t help me , sir i request please solved out my problms

Transfer of connection from any place in India to any other place (within a state or across different state) should be done without the need for any manual submission. The step should involve: Specifying the existing distributor and the new distributor along with transfer charges; Existing distributor should then come and collect the cylinder; the new distributor should deliver a new cylinder at a specified date as mentioned in the online request.

yes, the aadhar no. has to be linked to your bank account for all govt. and non-govt. database

I have hp gas connection.i have aadhar number and bank account number . i linked my aadhar with bank . but when i go to gas distributor office it is showing that your aadhar is not linked with bank. is it necessary that both bank address and hp gas delivery address should be same

sir the message method is nice only for educated peoples but uneducated peoples suffer.so,procedure for booking the refill is simplifided good for all.i request the delivery date will also allounced in the sms

Sir Normally we receive sms of this type:- HPGas Booking nO 506050 cash memo 1012345 Dt. 01.01.16 Rs 721.50. Refill will be delieverd shorthly if the exact date and time is also given of the Delievery then the wastage of fuel due to cancellation can be avoided as well as precious time, energy of both the company as well as customer will be saved,if the company properly coordinates with the transporter then it will make it easier for all

Currently each state, each department, each city, each municipality has their own app for smartphone users. This is burden on both smartphone and user. Policy makers and app developers, please include all services (i really mean all) in to one single app. Simple one app for an Indian.

Dear Petroleum Minister,

While taking a new LPG connection or during transfer case, is it mandatory to take new stove, gas trolley, apron & miscellaneous items from the dealer.

If somebody is having the approved ISI gas stove, I think it is unnecessary to take a new gas stove. If so it is meant to be extra burden for the customer.

Can you give clarification regarding the above matter.

Asking to surrender subsidy is good but supply system improvement is needed with system and technology lacking at our area.Complaining system no one is resposible in Indane to monitor the distributor.Every delivery we need to complain & shifting to other distributor will not improve our existing one.Hope any resposible Team can check my LPG ID3 7000 0000 2514 4668 as no other person is complaining about this kind of harrassment of the distributor facing regularly.Can we make a simple process.

hello,
i think LPG gas will if we get gas cylender with in 3 days of booking the gas. we got it above 20-25 days without any reason, #MyGov .
