How can schools innovatively include ‘focusing on cleanliness’ as a part of their curriculum where students learn about the need and importance of cleanliness from a ...
Smart village
In order to make villages look smart Housing Scheme Indira Awas should be replaced with cluster development of community with uniform designed houses . local inhibits skilled should be developed and provided employment under MANREGA round the year to develop such colony with low cost amenities. Each cluster should have school, hospital with digital India access for direct link with urban market to sell their product at better price.
my school has a policy, and I think every school should follow it. my school is very strict about it.
my school is a no polybag, plastic zone.
In my view government should add one lesson about swach bharath in hindi and english right from class 1 to 10 and make it a important lesson with 5 marks in every exam. lesson should have how to dispose waste, benefits of swach bharath, etc., it will be there in students right from the beginning of there life and they will make it a habbit of being clean and green. After all they are the future of our country.
This is my view on implementation of Cleanliness in School Curriculum .
A cleanliness culture to be developed, it has to start from childhood, school is a big platform, Government servants, social workers (including Panchayat, Assembly, Upper & Lower Sabha representatives, politicians) must have to initiate. it is a continuous process, we have to observe a compulsory "Sevana Varam" every 3 months, it can use for cleaning or backward citizens welfare, Palliative Care etc., automatically all citizens will participate or support the same, it will not be in one day.
Recently one centrl ministry declared award for swachh bharat. It is my openion that Small awards should be given in offices, schools , colleges, in cities and towns on monthly basis. If one colony/locality gets award in a month immediately neiboughring locality will try to bypass observing greater cleanliness. Similar will be the response in offices, schools and colleges.
But we have to make sure that students are getting proper apron for this. And they are using gloves of good quality. Also to make sure only dry trash is picked by these students for their safety.
Now think, if district have 40 schools,
12 months,
6 times cleanliness activity by every schools.
6 x 40 = 240 places of a district would be clean within a year.
And this will surely educate the people of nearby to ensure that they don't make mess of that place.
Also, doing this activity by students will educate the general mass more than that our politicians are doing.
Rather than teaching cleanliness, we must do some practicals over it. Every know the basics & need of cleanliness. Make it a part of activity like marathon. I don't want to add one more subject just for the sake of it.
Students should be called for cleanliness project for there nearby societies. It should be extra curricular activities. Just a basic knowledge is enough before starting cleanliness.
This would be a lesson for general masses.
We can do this in a gap of every 2 months. If a sc
