The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

Sir, I being an ex servicemen had the privilege to visit many parts of India. I feel the schemes for education of girl child is better in Tamil Nadu and Kerala and so I request you to implement this successful schemes to all over India. Educating a girl child is equal to educating a family. Most importantly people belonging to the lower strata of the society must be made to take the importance of girl child education.

Can it be possible to make a law where every one should wear a mask to cover a mouth in a public place. I request to the concern department and authority to give a thought on this.

Kind response towards the same from the concerned authority will be highly appreciated.

some ideas are given in following blogpost "http://want2change.wordpress.com/2012/10/12/encourage-girl-child/" to encourage people to have girls and also people will have incentive to control population.

Ignorance can only be addressed through education and empowerment. This is a generational topic, and is gut wrenching when you come to think that we worship goddesses as deities, but our society in general has malaise and dislike for our daughters.

Let's continue to enhance our social framework, and develop support schemes for all our girls and daughters.
