Our students need to have a holistic development which cannot be achieved only through information and instruction. Knowledge needs sensitization to values, ethics, appreciating ...
Apart from Comprehensive education, school must get their students visit the national buildings and get them involved in day to day working of the institution. Instead of taking them to entertainment destination, they should be shown the rural india, its industries and ask them to design a better nation for tomorrow. School should give opportunity to every student to express his/her point of view for its own nation. They should be taught our vedic healing practices and other ancient technology.
1) “Dohas of Kabir\Surdas\Rahim” & “sloks form ShriMad Bhagwat Gita” are nowhere in education. Our own culture is getting lost because of this. In Hindu religion, there a number of “sloks” (teachings) about life that can be used to teach. Similarly teaching from other religions also should be adopted and develop such a syllabus of moral education that it introduces our culture. It builds a positive thinking about life. It should tell children to judge right & wrong.
Yoga,Meditation must be part of education. It should be decided based on child's age and minimum age for Yoga & meditation. Once child has habit of it, they can do it at their home in higher education. It will improve child's mental ans physical power. Social reforms ; cleanness, helping poor, Respecting women, etc; also part of primary education.
ethics should be established people transacting the curriculum
physical education should be given proper weight-age at primary level
For school education / primary education syllabus must include short stories on following themes:-
1.SANSKAR (ETHICS)
2.NAGRIK SHASTRA (CIVIC SENSE)
3.DESH BHAKTI (BASIC KNOWLEDGE ABOUT FREEDOM FIGHTERS
These days, many study engineering, medicine. As human brain has both aspects, technical and artistic. People who study purely technical papers and who research in technical fields lose their artistic sense in life. For them, a paper in arts such as history, sociology, economics, literature or applied psychology, law could be included in pre-final year as electives (self-study) with more credits. A wide variety of choices could be given for their choices. It improves broad view on life, society.
spiritual plus job oriented education
The modern education is "Job oriented" .It should be knowledge oriented as "knowledge is power".Any education without 'Value base' is meaningless.Present course materials should be redesigned in such a way that it first enriches the students with fundamental of subjects, adds life values &thus prepare them as a true "Insaan" to earn requirements for livelihood.
Hello everybody...
At first i want to mention that I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to share my thoughts and views here. It is very encouraging for common people to be invited to share their ideas and thoughts on issues of national interest. I am a teacher and have passion for quality of education of children because they are future of the nation.
i believe in education with values. value education must be imparted through motivational stories, seminars and situation card method
Syllabus up to 10th must be simplified, there should be only basic science, history, Indian culture, geography, Arithmetic, moral science, GK .Environment, Health ,Basic of our political system & constitution, Introduction of National Issues, mother tongue, basic English
Knowledge of rule needs to know for daily work for bank, post office, Railways, Traffic rule, consumers right, various welfare scheme of national and state govt.
Sports & Games, Extra curriculum activities like music theater
