What are the major constraints in eliminating beggary? In addition to the efforts made by the Government, how can public participation get India rid of beggary? ...
I see that govt is giving subsidiary in lpg gas by 394 per 14.2 kg. I wont mind if I have to pay total amount for my lpg gas cylinder.. can we ask people of india who wanted to elect cylinder without subsidiary so that we can be the part of development of India.
Begging in our country primarily arises because of non-fulfillment of two basic needs - food and shelter. While a lot of food lying in FCI go downs might stale or become unfit for consumption, it is pity that this reason still subsists for lack of co-ordination. Box like Shelter as in Tokyo can be built but effectively begging can be eliminated only if we control population in relation to our resources.
education.. lack of education can cause beggary in greater extent as a result of unemployment. awareness can b done. And sometimes ppl should nt donate to young beggars as they may continue it further and forever.
Creation of a separate Heritage Department of Govt of India for cataloging old Manuscripts/Antiques/Idols/Statues/Sculptures/ Paintings/Records stacked abroad in Museums/Libraries & by Private custodians and then facilitating for bringing these back to the country.
As awaken citizens of this Great Country India, we feel that it is utmost important for every Indians to know our Heritage stacked abroad and then making all efforts at Diplomatic/Governmental level for bringing them back to India
EDUCATION, AND EMPLOYMENT IS MAIN CONSTRAINTS.
The local body should find out such needy people in their locality and give them works which can easily be done like cleaning the city, collection of waste, and other purpose and supporting their families by giving free eduction to their children in Government school and colleges. This will give them employment and their children proper eduction which will help them and india in near future
Following are the constrains:
1) Exclusive society, with a deep rooted inferiority complex of being an INDIAN, with no national identity and spirit
2) Lack of proper infrastructure/support system, for those, who want to work in this direction.
3) Too much of babudom, which kills the actual purpose and reduces the process it to a teething and useless process
4) Lack of sensitivity on our part, otherwise, who does not see a child beggar, when comes out from his house in the morning for his work.
People give alms and hence people are encouraged to carry on with begging. No safe short stay homes and social welfare departments are not equipped to meet the demands. Poor old people with no homes also beg. Homeless, those who do not feel like maintaining a home, and those who do not know anything else go begging. Women who are young with small children and no jobs also continue to beg.
This problem is created to lack of education. It can give opportunity to change the life. When he goes for study it's mind not diverted in all other things
I have written one lyric which motivate peoples not for begging and not to accept government subsidy. I can invest my money in audio and video production.
