What are the major constraints in eliminating beggary? In addition to the efforts made by the Government, how can public participation get India rid of beggary? ...
Encourage own business ideas to beggary with the help of government.
We Youngters from Coimbatore Joined Hands with the District Administration led by the District Collector and Corporation took the Initiative of making Coimbatore - BeggarsFree City. We also conducted a Rally to create an Awareness among the Public which was a first of it kind in India. Government was so supportive and cooperative in this regard. We are on the process and very very soon Coimbatore will become a Beggars Free City. Hope this Model can be replicated across India. Jai Hind.
in our locality in my view there is no one who use them for begging but as the beggar are the one who had been left out by family so this avoiding make them to come on street and no one talk to them i asked a beggar why you beg he replied that he was a hotel owner living with wife.he has good income but unfortunately his wife had a affair with the waiter in hotel behind him.when he ask to his wife she told yes to him and with that person she told him to work as a waiter his life make him beg
if govt and non govt organization or self helped group help them with a small small establishment like pulling rickshaw, utilize the labour it will be good.
Major constraint : Separating professional from genuine beggars. Former needs stern handling while latter compassion. Suggested steps - Create profile card on mobile platform as an ap. - include photo/ finger print / iris recognition feature - load on beat constables mobile - also downloadable by common public - analyze data and physical verify at police station level - professional beggars to be warned - genuine beggars to be classified on age - children seniors and others - diff solutions
stopping begging menace is must. if you will ban begging all together, some leftists thugs will come crying"what those poor ppl will do"despite knowing huge syndicates working behind. START BY BANNING KIDS FROM BEGGING.if child labor crime,so is kids begging.then start campaign by police, help them find their lost families else take them to orphanages.i for one believe even orphanage kids should registered with police, must know who r dey,wbt der families at al?and this should also stop child theft
govt shud BAN CHILD BEGGARS to start with.police shud register them, find out who r they, are they ones who r registered missing somewhre or other?help them find families. send all beggar kids to orphanages.ask those people who r fond of giving alms to beggars to donate money to these orphanages so that kids can be brought up well.so many kids go missing in country, where r they taken?many forced into begging?stop this.IF POLICE CANT HELP FAMILIES FIND LOST KIDS,HELP BEGGAR KIDS FIND LOST FAMILIES.
we can direct beggers of providing some sort of employment..like keeping area clean from litter..and provide incentives if they succeed..and we must also show alternate ways of revenue generation
it is clear that some begger easily earn money so they do not want to work because they make them their profession ,, but few of them really poor ,so government have duety they recognise them & provide them their needed things like food ,cloths and education to their children ,,,
it is not a easy task but it is strictlly follow by each dm of all of district ,,,it can be realy eliminate,,,,,
Why Hindu temples are not encouraged to have a practice similar to Gurudwaras LANGARs, if region can be used constructively then it must be used instead making it's use for destructive purposes. Also this 'll create example of good things from one religion can be copied to other
