The Municipal Corporation of Dahod, Dahod Nagar Palika – DNP, has revised and upgraded its Smart City Proposal (SCP) for Round – 3. The Draft Round – 3 proposal envisions:

Vision

Dahod will be the model city from the tribal heartland of Gujarat which empowers youth and tribal through skill development, generates employments by establishing transit and agro industrial hub and offers decent quality of life to every citizen!

Area based development (ABD) proposal:

Retrofitting area which includes locations such as TP Scheme, APMC, Bus Stand, ChabTalav (Lake) and banks of river Dudhimati. In the area of over 860 acres, the following initiatives are planned: Development of Transit Hub, Development of e-APMC market, Sewer Network & Sewerage Treatment Plant, Solid waste management through waste to energy plant, underground utility, road widening, foot path and cycle track, roof top solar, rainwater harvesting, over-bridge on Dudhimati and railway over bridge, slum rehabilitation, tribal museum, green space and garden development, sports complex and amusement park.

Pan city proposal

The pan city proposal which impacts entire city of Dahod includes initiatives such as Digital Literacy and Channelized Skill Development, Ease of doing business portal, Digital Transit Management, Telemedicine, Healthcare Management Information System, Digital Marketplace, Eco-friendly smart mini buses, Smart Poles mounted with IOT sensors like environment monitoring, Smart streetlights, CCTV cameras, Wi-Fi point, digital display, panic button, SOS telephone and a data feeder to send live status to Intelligent Command and Control Center (I3C) for continuous monitoring, i) City-wide OFC network to attain digital parity, j) Smart water metering, k) Smart waste collection, l) Self-sanitizing e-toilets and m) Citizen Lifecycle Management System.

Suggestion are invited from citizens by 26th March, 2017.
