Teachers are the cornerstone of any educational system. Developing the teaching talent and incentivizing best teachers, retaining good teachers are all significant to improving the ...
to develop best teacher, they should be selected from joint entrance examination for pre=Med/ engi and than graduate as B,Ed.
The complaint about brain drain is unjustified keeping in mind the exploitation with respect to salaries in India. Promotions should be made on the basis of capabilities and not on the basis of seniority like government organizations in India. Skills are not utilized properly here and salary increases on the basis of seniority and not talent. We need RTI to ensure the government works properly for creating infrastructure, else our taxes will keep rising to compensate for the poor.
Teach by doing so that they can learn by doing.
DEVELOPING BEST TEACHERS
1. Identify at early stages students keen to adopt teaching as a profession, through scientific analysis, observe this group carefully till class 10. Quality students from the group who are still keen, be admitted to proposed specialised Institution, 'Training of Teachers School' which will offer 'Bachelor's / Master's of Education'.
2. Training & development, attractive salaries, recognition through Awards will act as strong motivators

Good educated person can not opt for teacher post in absence of B.Ed and D.Ed. Outside such people are running the classes successfully and teaching much better manner without having B.Ed and D.Ed. B.Ed and D.Ed should not be compulsory for teaching post.
Good educated people can not opt for teacher post as they do not have B.Ed or D.Ed. B.Ed and D.Ed should not be compulsory for teacher post.
No Teacher should be allowed to AVOID NEW MEDIA Learnings. EdTech MUST be an integral part of teacher training. The Training Agency must make it clear that it is not about using a computer, rather using Actual Tools of EdTech and EduSoMedia is what they mean by EdTech.
sir, there should be restriction of B Ed colleges , in india there is a culture going on in these colleges that you give more money you donot have to attend the college and colleges helps these students by providing files of old students to make project and help them in every way to fulfills their ambitions, result untrained people join the education system to educate the children without any experience.
UGC insists on new Teaching Aids. On principle this is good & they really help students learn some advanced skills by observation. But many teachers simply dictate from the screen, making learning difficult for students. In fact, knowledge is transmitted from the LCD screen to the notes of the student bypassing the brain of both teacher & student. This is the hard reality. Number of good teachers is few & far between. Along with teaching aid let us bring good teacher back with chalk & blackboard
Time to time re-orientation of teachers to be planned.
