Part-III this machenism will be helful in many ways- 1. To know ratio of teacher-students in institute. 2. Wil make sure appropriate remunerationa is given as per given guideline and no money is being converted into black money. 3. To stop corruption in education system. In my view govt should fillup vacant position of govt institutions & open new institutions for higher & technical education because private institutions are just to make money not to produce talented peolpe for nation.

Continuation of earliar post. these is happening bcz there is no fool proof machenism in our system. I think every private institution has to show to govt that they are following norms which is not true in all case.To avoid this,Govt can get this retify from income tax department since every employer issue Form 16 to their staff. So instead of asking these data from these institutions govt can easily watch wethar teaching staff is being paid as per scale with others norms pf,hra, medical etc

A good teacher can build nation by giving quality education to students and Indian teachers has such capability but resources are limited since there are less govt college than privates where they are exploited by paying less to their teaching staff, though govt has asked them to pay according pay scale but they dont pay accordingti that. They give basic salary as per norms but cut down other part like HRA, MEDICAL etc to reduce the payout of salary & they must be manipulating in showing to GOVT

Lucrative salaries in IT sector, social recognition and economical richness as observed in professions like doctor, engineer, chartered accountancy and so are not felt in the profession of teaching now a days though it is the base for upliftment of living kind. Hence an urgent need for correcting economical gap to attract more people towards the profession of teaching are also to be felt as social responsibility.

Sir Modiji In most of our universities, particularly in Allahabad University, more than 2/3rd faculty positions are vacant. The positions of Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Finance Officer, Controller of Examinations are filled on ad hoc basis. No regular appointment are made for a very long time. Ultimate sufferer are the students.

Teacher training Institutes should be run only by the Government. There should be no such institutes run by private parties.Teachers should take up Teacher Proficiency Test every year based on which they should be assessed and it should not be based on the marks of the students. Teachers must be given In-Service Training every year for a period of not less than three days to update their technical and academic skills.

First of all, teachers should be more salaried than any other govt jobs. Teachers are backbone of society as they build future of nation. Very few persons who are well in teaching join educational institutes due to less salary especially in schools. Ad hoc or temporary based teachers cannot teach students with full energy. At the same time, quality of teachers to be ensured also. Training for development of moral values like honesty, integrity, truthfulness, etc in teachers is a must.
