The digital world has become an essential part of our daily lives—whether it’s social media, online shopping, digital banking, or gaming. Along with these opportunities come new risks such as Investment Scam, Instant Loan, Part time job, Trading, Sextortion, Courier Fraud, Digital Arrest, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS).

To build a safer online community, Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to join the Digital Safety Dialogue. This open discussion is a space for sharing personal experiences, safety tips, and community practices that help protect against cyber threats. By learning from each other, we can strengthen digital safety awareness and promote secure online behavior for all.

Your inputs will help create a collective pool of ideas and practices that can be used to spread awareness and guide citizens towards building a Cybercrime-free Digital Bharat.

Cyber Crime Free Bharat Introduction In the modern digital age, the internet has become an essential part of our lives. From online banking and shopping to education and healthcare, everything is now connected through technology. However, with these benefits comes a major threat — cyber crime. India’s rapid digital transformation through UPI, Aadhaar, and other public platforms has empowered millions — but it has also exposed citizens to unprecedented levels of digital fraud, impersonation, and social-engineering scams. To address this growing threat, I am proposing the creation of a National Scam Intelligence & Response Grid (NSIRG) — a distributed, AI-driven infrastructure that unifies citizen reporting, fraud detection, and real-time coordination among enforcement agencies. This proposal outlines a scalable, category-based digital framework capable of identifying repeat offenders, correlating scam networks, and protecting every Indian using internet or telecom services. NSIRG aims to make India the first nation in the world to operationalize a national-level Digital Scam Filter Grid under the Digital India initiative, ensuring safety, trust, and resilience across our digital ecosystem.

All the government apps including state and central goverment applications on Android or Apple store should be built on common secure platform and should be secured by cybersecurity department and applications should maintain some minimum software quality standards and dedicated support team should be appointed to fix the bugs immediately.
