The digital world has become an essential part of our daily lives—whether it’s social media, online shopping, digital banking, or gaming. Along with these opportunities come new risks such as Investment Scam, Instant Loan, Part time job, Trading, Sextortion, Courier Fraud, Digital Arrest, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS).

To build a safer online community, Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to join the Digital Safety Dialogue. This open discussion is a space for sharing personal experiences, safety tips, and community practices that help protect against cyber threats. By learning from each other, we can strengthen digital safety awareness and promote secure online behavior for all.

Your inputs will help create a collective pool of ideas and practices that can be used to spread awareness and guide citizens towards building a Cybercrime-free Digital Bharat.

"To effectively curb cybercrime, it is necessary to create strong cyber laws and enforce them strictly so that offenders are immediately punished. Clear and speedy procedures must be established for cases of online fraud, hacking, and data theft. Comprehensive cyber security education and training programs should be conducted for the general public. Regular cyber security tips, alerts, and guidelines should be provided on digital platforms. Collaboration with telecom companies, banking institutions, and tech firms is essential for fraud prevention. Prompt action must be ensured for blocking fake numbers, links, and accounts. The special cyber helpline number 1930 should be widely publicized. A dedicated cyber crime cell should be established to ensure speedy and effective resolution of complaints. Periodic awareness campaigns should be organized in colleges and schools, urging students to also educate people living around them about cybercrime.
