Digital technologies can help citizens in all income groups by providing digital access to information, knowledge and services. How can we empower all citizens with digital access? ...
It will be better if goverment include integration of all police stations of country with servers along with national crime record database in Digital India.Controlling crime will be easy. If a vehicle stolen in a state and police find it in another state then police can find it easily in which police station FIR filed of that vehicle with help of chesis & engine no. Govt should do feasibility study for it.
tanks for digital service
Digital Services : We need to first empower our Public Safety Professionals with digital technology for compliance management, so that unwanted accidents can be restricted.
We need to look at building new smart cities as well upgrading the infrastructure in other places with Soft-Digital Infrastructure and IoT communications.
A summary of my research in this area has been forwarded to Shri. Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Digital Empowerment of Citizens:
(i) Universal digital literacy.
(ii) All digital resources universally accessible.
(iii) All Government documents/ certificates to be available on the Cloud.
(iv) Availability of digital resources / services in Indian languages.
(v) Collaborative digital platforms for participative governance.
(vi) Portability of all entitlements for individuals through the Cloud.
Infrastructure as Utility to Every Citizen:
High speed internet as a core utility shall be made available in all Gram Panchayats.
Cradle to grave digital identity - unique, lifelong, online and authenticable.
Mobile phone and Bank account would enable participation in digital and financial space at individual level.
(iv) Easy access to a Common Service Centre within their locality.
(v) Shareable private space on a public Cloud.
(vi) Safe and secure Cyber-space in the country.

There should a digital ebook reader available at nominal cost so that poot people can afford to but and use them to read ebooks
In continuation to prev. post, Digital India initiative can bring this address this
1. Central database of ID services (Passpaort/AAdhar card) with having permanent address and communication address both valid address proof and can be altered easily online
2. Like Netbanking services of Banks or DMAT accounts, NSC./PPF etc. should also be digitised.
Ultimately each indovidual to have unique invesment id to operate all the investments over the internet as currently being done for shares.
