Many Library Consortia exist in India (NKRC, INFLIBNET, INDEST etc.). All these consortia are utilising public fund, but serve only few. Why can't there be a national consortia that can serve all Indians R &D Labs irrespective of Departments? Using Aadhar id mandatory, can't we make use of this to logon to a Bharath Knowledge Network? Should each Dept, in India spend public money for purchasing same content from publishing Giants?

But the people who are not aware of these services may badly affected in future for example irctc booking service is not done by the people who live in village.
