Revised Classification Criteria: Amendments have updated the criteria for classifying enterprises as micro, small, or medium. Initially based on investment in plant and machinery, recent changes include turnover-based criteria. This shift aims to better reflect the financial capacity and operational scale of businesses.

Hello GOI,
IN MSME ease of doing business to be promoted with additional subsidies. Like once I saw in Korea YouTube channel, South Korea government providing special subsidiary for business started in small villages for 5 years with moratorium based loan rather than big cities. This will promote educated and experienced young people to start MSME in their villages. This will improve the economy of small villages and tier 3 and 4 cities . And this ecosystems supports diversity in business development rather than piling up in cities. Nowadays the advancement in digitalisation offers opportunities to access the world from any part small villages. Ministry of MSME should consider this one line idea and develop in to a policies around it.
