Itanagar, the beautiful capital city of Arunachal Pradesh is a proud participant of the Smart Cities Challenge. The aim of the Smart Cities mission is to develop Itanagar into a city that provides ICT enabled citizen services, smart set of services solutions and technologically augmented infrastructure facilities to all its residents, while maintaining the clean and green environment of Itanagar. Itanagar Municipal Council have been actively engaging in both online and offline citizen engagement and receiving tremendous response from citizens through Citizen Workshops, Citizen Surveys, Social Media Platforms (Facebook/Twitter) and Print Media. On the basis of the Citizen's feedback and vision for Itanagar strengthened by the SWOT analysis of the as-is situation, a draft proposal has been proposed for the Smart City initiative.

We are inviting citizens to share their valuable opinion on the Draft Smart City Proposal for Itanagar in order to make the proposal even more inclusive and relevant.
