Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

Jaipur, being the most visited heritage centre, is getting full support of foreign tourist flocking almost every corner of the city and peripheral of the pink city. We must show case the cultural sense by maintaining the well propagated cleanliness of our streets, tourist places and by depicting respects to the visitors. Cleanliness requires in zeroing use of plastic bags

Preserving and developing open spaces - parks, playgrounds, and recreational spaces in order to enhance the quality of life of citizens, reduce the urban heat effects in Areas and generally promote eco-balance.

Lack of proper coordination and understanding between local administration kills the beauty of any improvement proposal. Execution with full cooperation remains an essential element of the smart city. Minimising the water, air and noise pollution with full freedom of walking in the commercial streets is the need of the hour

1 PUBLIC TRANSPORT 2 CLEAN ROADS AND FOOTPATH 3 GREEN AREA IN CITY 4 ROAD LIGHTS 5 CLEAN AND MANNEGED BUS STAND & RAILWAY STATION, AIRPORT 6 HEALTH SYSTEM MORE HOSPITAL REQUIRED IN OUTER AREA OF CITY 7 SINGAL POINT OF CONTACT FOR MUNICIPAL RELATED WORK I GUESS IF WE ABLE TO DO THESE BASIC WORK FIRST, THEN WORLD CLASS WILL COMES LATER THAT INCLUDES WI-FI IN CITY, ONLINE WORKS, BEST ROADS, BYCYCLE TRACK,PARKS IN THE CITY AND MANY MORE ....
