Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

you can give it to an agency whose responsibility is to make sure that the roads are clean the locations where the garbage is kept are painted, the solid waste management is done by making pits on several location , plant trees on required positions hire team of people and pay them for the purpose . Garbage collection from these pits shall be responsibility of JNN.

Fourthly, there must be some mobile apps for tourists and locals regarding address finder, SOS feature, helpdesk at proper places etc. Last but not the least there must be proper facilities of latrine-bathroom throughout the city.

To keep the colonies clean and to plant tree on various location in the colony which shall keep the city more beautiful and pollution free. JNN needs funds which is not available with them. WE can take up the electric poles for advertisement which JMC can not sell or in other words no one buys that from JNN as these poles are non sale-able poles.

JMC must keep proper roads and remain very stick on encroachments. Once any material is seized from encrochment areas it should not be released againt nominal fine as what is happening that same place same stalls are getting placed again which JMC lift. In our area road are worst. All footpaths are covered by maafia and leased to stalls on rent.

The vision of smart city shall be matured if the existing compulsions of citizen as laid down in Nigam "s manual be implemented even upto satisfactory level. The casual approach of Nigam prompted citizen to evades their responsibity towards our city.

Jaipur is a city known for diversified history and tradition. I love MY JAIPUR very much. Also, people coming from other states and other countries, who fly from far distances comes to Jaipur to see what History, tradition, culture and beauty of Jaipur and not the DEBRIS of historical building and monuments. I fell so downhearted to see my city deprived condition .

Garbage Box should always be on Chaurahaya, means where Four Roads are Connected. And it must be placed near boundary, not on road
