Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

Jaipur need to focus on the improvement of education system.............. It can try to make the presence of the Institutions like IITs, IIMs, Symbiosis......etc. which may help in reducing the Brain Drain of Jaipur which will further help in the growth and development of the city.

Jaipur should focus on "Waste managemnt". "Water proof roads can be built in Jaipur"............ to avoid the problem of water collection (specially during rainy season)

Thanks to Jaipur authorities for making Jaipur as smart cities. Smart card for all mode of transportation is good idea. This pan-city technology will give hessel free ride for all mode transportation. Strengthening of heritage of Jaipur will give boost to economic of country as tourist fall in Jaipur will increase. Very nice plan indeed. Well done . Hope we get selected in first top twenty smart cities of India.

There are two proposal , one is area base and another pan city solution. We are happy that smart public transport and solid waste management have been chosen for whole city as it need of time for our city

As I am observing ,For widening of roads trees are being cut and flowering trees are being planted but these flowering trees can not control that much pollution as the urban trees . so please do plantation more and more so that Jaipur can never face an environmental problem like Delhi.At least JDA can make plantation along side road in every 15 meters distance.

As the cleaning is a important issue for the smart city, therefore:- 1. We may setup the plant to convert the garbage into verminous compost to short out this problem. If you allow ,our representative will explain you process/system to implement the method through PPT. 2. As a social responsibility we can announce the Car Free Day for the Jaipur to reduce the pollution grade in the city limit. Submitted for consideration please.

Maintenance- We develop roads, we re-innovate many things but spend few time/money on its maintenance. Jaipur need to make sure that regular maintenance is done at regular intervals. Contractor who worked on particular development , his details should be provided clearly to area peoples so that any fault/flaw on his development should be informed directly or to respective person.

Traffic is one thing which jaipur need to tackle from phase 1 of making jaipur to be smart city. currently if we look at traffic of Jaipur. It is moderate except peak hours but sometimes we observe that traffic police at signals dont give any attention to increasing traffic until traffic is un-managable and vehicles are stuck immovable

Night life is one of the feature which will definitely develop when youth from other cities also come to jaipur for jobs. Security to Girls, Stringent laws for drink and rives need to be implemented. Covering Jaipur with CCTV is one thing which will definitely a smart move for jaipur.
