Jaipur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas to improve their city under Smart City Challenge.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Jaipur Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, Blog writing competition, Logo making competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 30th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Nagar nigam Website, Smart City Website) used to reach citizens.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

Garbage Box should always be on Chaurahaya, means where Four Roads are Connected. And it must be placed near boundary, not on road

2.General & Transport 3.1.Bus stands be specified and bus should be made to stop on the bus stops only where parking space is also provided. 3.2.The moving thelas must be of similar approved / economical design and there should not be crowding on road crossings. 3.3.There should be regular training of the staff to make them quick server & smart in attending public grievances.

First of all the Traffic/ Lane driving must be followed in order to achieve the object because traffic represents a city and government too. Secondly, after running some awareness programme regarding litter and cleanliness among people, there must be strict provisions for fine and civil prison for people who litter on the road and in their colony etc.

If any problem in any ward area, like this...damage road, fuse road light, civer jam etc. Must be short out in limited period . Mostly people say that Nigam does not solve the common problem. So we will change this mentality. When problems short out in 24 hour, one week...than become our city smart city. Proper Monitoring and accountability must be condition for this.

2.Development works / Repair & Renewals 2.1.Every drain made to reach to the disposal points. 2.2.No road should be accepted unless it has cross slope (camber) and longitudinal slope of drain. 2.3.Drainage of all roads be checked, so that no water flow on the bituminous surface.

1.2.The approval of plans, issue of pattas etc must be done within 3 days getting corrected the drawback if any. A positive approach must prevail all the time. 1.3.The parking areas may be identified in each market and the parking must be enforced effectively. One row of vehicles may be allowed on either side of the road edge if the road is wide enough. Vehicle parking white lines may be marked permanently

Few suggestion for Jaipur to be made as SMART CITY 1.Enforcement of planned growth 1.1.There are lot of encroachments in the residential areas of the colonies. Commercial shops etc have come up in the road side set back. Not only this, these people have encroached on the road land by erecting tin shed etc for display of their articles or otherwise.

2g WiFi everywhere , government buses status on mobile , extent metro in tonk road ,led lights every where , join every government agencies to internet, develop new plans in #Rajasthan Financial Corporation , clean every area , 24hrs. Electricity in every area , Special arrangements for tourist ,if you guys improve traffic arrangements and bisalpur water line arrangements we will think that jaipur becomes smart city.
