Under UJALA scheme, the main objective is to promote efficient lighting, enhance awareness on using efficient equipment which reduces electricity bills and helps preserve the ...
All major factories, cities, corporations, municipalities panchayat should be give a cutoff date to replace any other high power consuming lamps to LEDs.
LED Lamps can be distributed through Rashion Shops, on the basis of monthly income, at a discounted price.
Most incandescent or fluorescent lamps are manufactured by big companies like Bajaj, Philips, Surya etc. They should be given a cut off time to stop production of such lamps and to start LED production.

KASAI MIL SAKATA HAI LED GARMIN AREA MAI
WHO TO GET LED, RURAL AREA IN INDIA
If government actually want to do it as a fast-track scheme.
It's Simple! Ban production of AC (alternating current) CFLs and incandescent lamps. Government should direct CFL manufacturer to recycle their inventory and manufacturer LEDs only in future. I can see most of government offices are still not using LEDs. So promoting LEDs is not a solution. Marketing and promoting something is work of manufacturer not of government. So don't waste money in promotion, Just ban it.
