Cleaning of appliances like ACs is a must. A good passage for air-flow to compressors must be ensured. Else, it leads to excessive consumption of power to be able to pump the required flow of air for ensuring the cooling process. ACs run in temp range of 25-27 deg reduce the electricity consumption. Being exposed to too low temperatures over a long period of time, in hot country like India maybe harmful to health. The excesively low temperatures require the compressors to run for long duration

People have a habit of cooking their food on full-flame of the gas to 'save time' but this causes a lot of unnecessary wastage of the fuel and does not even give a better cooked food. Many a times the food gets completely burnt due to this mania over saving time. Food cooks well and efficiently on a normal flame.

[Part 1] Many a times people overload their refrigerators or they overload their washing machines while washing clothes in them. This overloading may not provide the necessary optimum time saving results, but it will infact increase the electricity consumption by those appliances and sometimes cause some serious problem with them, inviting all the more expenditure over its repairs. [Part 1] A modern day trend existing in almost all urban homes is the use of WiFi routers. This WiFi router has slowly become one of those appliances which remains 'turned ON' 24x7. Not only does this consume and waste electricity when nobody is using the internet,in effect getting excessively heated up and reducing its own durable life, but it also wastes the consumable internet data by exchange sync messages with the internet hub, for whatever time it will remain switched ON. [part 1]Many a times, just because of our laziness, we find it too cumbersome to switch off lights or fans of a room not in use. A good way out would be keeping some 2-way switches for rooms, with the second switch being in a centrally located place of the home, preferably in the living room or the kitchen. These are places, where someone or the other is always invariably present, hence can easily turn off the unwanted appliances without having to go all the way to that specific bedroom[cont..]

There should be law/rule, that every street or road side food Owners/Vendors having their own waste bin (or combined by more than one vendor), so that the garbage or plates used by public should not to be scattered over the street or road. If the plates or debris found scattered form their foodstuff the penalty should be taken by vendor. Water logging or spillage should not happen near their vending vehicle.

Energy conservation does not mean that its related with Power only. We can save energy though these ways too.
- Whenever possible, walk, bike, car pool, or use mass transit.
- Corporates should starts own/rented bus facility for transit to office and vice versa.
- Reduce the volume of waste you produce by buying minimally packaged goods, choosing reusable products over disposable ones, and recycling.

respected sir,
Plz start covering the footpath of busy town with solar plate, it will provide relief to person who is walking on the footpath and also it will give free electricity in day to the small scale company or home near to the substation of that solar panel.

Govt may think for giving incentives when there is significant saving of electricity by user, say rebate if savings done above 20% or so (should be measurable).
At the same time Govt should think that all Govt offices should not misuse of power by keeping on of the ACs as officials generally on tour/ meeting and the cabin are not switched off of the ACs.
