use led lighting systems in goverment buildings. replace old bulbs and resuce ek batti connections in basti areas.
Industrial houses / commercial bulidings must be provided with bonus and benefits for producing and using power through unconventional sources (like bio-gas, domestic water flow, wind,etc..). If their production is well within the usage the bonus (in form of tax evasion etc..) should be provided, else if it is vice verse penalty must be implemented.
High end users like Mr.Mukesh Ambani (oik tycoon) must be charged heavily for unwanted usage of resources, which leads to scarcity for some other countrymen.
Every customer (domestic / industrial / commercial) must provide details(once in a year) of electricity required by them every month. So if more power consumed more than specified requirement, the charges can be levied double to certain on normal cost and bonus if less usage. which will reduce wastage of power. Abnormal prediction should be provided with detail usage in every equipment / room which ever applicable.
Government can initiate and support power production through unconventional source (like domestic water flow, domestic waste bio-gas etc..) in a group or an individual house / building. Benefits and bonus for more production and less usage must be appreciated, so the deficit in power can be overcome.Applicable for domestic consumers only.
Saving of oil by Car Pool : 60-75%; Saving of oil by using Public transport: 90-100%; Saving of oil by better driving practice: 20-30%;
India spends around $150 billion (Rs. 9 Lac Crore) for import of crude oil every year. According to study, 30% of the fuel gets wasted in traffic jam and red light when our vehicle remains stand still. So even if we save 10-12% wastage, we shall save Rs. 1 Lac Crore every year for our country. We should take help of modern technology like RFID, GPS, GPRS and Mobile infrastructure to regulate our traffic system. With this we can very easily save 10-12% wastage. For detail scheme, please contact.
Dear Prime Minister, We have many rivers in India, why don't we use river water to run heat pumps for heating and cooling the buildings located alongside the rivers? This will save huge amount of energy and provide comfortable office environment. I have technology to share for this application. I have designed many of these for the water treatment plants in Ontario, Canada.
Allow private players to solarize the roof of every building in every city
Most private office buildings are "HIGHLY DECORATED" by glass.Glass buildings look nice but such buildings in hot climates can make buildings hotter.Hence more energy is wasted in air conditioning.Hence avoiding excessive and inappropriate use of glass can reduce this expense.Also natural air conditioning can be used in buildings.
