Ensure greater tourism as well as cleaner Ganga

Start Date :
Jan 01, 2015
Last Date :

How can it be ensured that not only does the arrival of tourists increase but also the Ganga remains clean?
Introduce tourism police to protect tourists and provide online information to one and all so they can research and book. Offer incentives to best providers and seek feedback at every step.
Respected PM,
Drain water should not be allowed to river Ganga. The waste water has to go sea through drain canals. 156 years back in west Godavari river, Sir Arthur Cotton made this arrangement and as on date we are using drain water into this canal without letting to into river.
Dear P.M, Your efforts towards adopting rural areas in your area is a great effort. The same idea we can put forward by Inviting Richer Temples, Churches, Mosques, Jain/Sikh Mandirs to develop some rural areas in their districts, states etc. Even P.M. can Invite N.R.I's to Contribute to develop any one undeveloped areas of India while he visits outside India.
Thanks,
a) Installation of water cooler with inbuilt acquaguards to reduce the waste die to plastic water bottles b) The flowers basket (dona) meant to be offered to Ganga should be made of leaves instead of plastic c) Kavariyaans should not be allowed to throw their kaavars in Ganga during the festival of Shivraatri d) Washing clothes or taking bath in Ganga with soap should be strictly banned e) Gutters and industrial wastes should not be allowed to merge into Ganga f) Slums near ganga- rehabilitation
1) Heritage places where foreign tourist visit should be neatly painted and restoration of beauty to be carried out.
2) Foreign tourist help to generate more revenue for locals.
3) Citizens feel pride when our foreign guest likes our country, It creates goodwill which Directly indirectly creates business.
4) Places within a range of existing tourist attraction should be beautified too.
5) Places where poor population reside and have a nearby potential tourist spot should be explore too.
We should stop draining flowers along with Holy materials straight away into rivers, because these along with Toxic chemicals become hazardous waste!! But we INDIANS get MAD in our AASTHA, where in other countries its opposite!!
Sir I am shocked to see the drains who directkly pour water to Maa Ganga. Please do something for drains as soon as possible & put a penalty on all who dirtidy it, Once a poeople will pay a penalty or five will think once before dirtifying Maa Ganga.
Impressed by the title. Completely agree. Being citizens only sometimes we hesitate to go to few place hence cant expect others to visit our country where it is nt that tidy..
Geetha Jayanthi
Moment just like Clean India to be started. People to be educated that it is their fundamental duty not to throw waste in rivers side by side whole the rivers to be cleaned using technology adopted by the foreigns
