Ensure greater tourism as well as cleaner Ganga

How can it be ensured that not only does the arrival of tourists increase but also the Ganga remains clean?
To clean our Ganga there must be strict rule and punishment who make it filthy . Gov must work to stop drainage and leather works water to be mixed in ganga ..
I think the government should give the task of cleaning Ganga to anyone who volunteers and specially the industries and corporates should earn credit points such as carbon credit which in turn will provide them certain tax benefits. The companies found of dumping wastes should be levied extra tax.
I think we should take lessons from the west in this case. Its not a mystery to keep a river clean it is being practiced by many of the western nations. There should be zero effluent policy for the industry and fines should be placed if not followed. Government should also make the name of the companies public which do not follow these norms. Industry can also play a vital role in cleaning the river if it gets added into their CSR activity and tax benefits can be given to motivate them.
Also, some swayam-sevaks (volunteers) should be deployed on each important (for-cleanliness & for-tourism) stretch of the river, to enable monitoring & maintaining of clean Ganga water. They should blow the whistle in case they see someone polluting the river, and they should engage with people, govt, companies and ngo’s, to find the solution to the existing problems (PPP participation/partnership). They can be called the river-protectors. Govt should take good care of them & their survival need
One thing that can be done is: Involve/invite/encourage/allow Indian Industry (thru CSR), & the hotels/hospitality companies like Taj and ITC, and some international companies (from technologically advanced Europe, Japan, etc.), to clean the river and to develop it and its banks, for their tourism/business ends/goals. These companies must help/enable/maintain clean the Ganga water (using advanced tech), by adopting stretches of the river each. Govt should empower them but keep a check on them.
Strictly no Industrial waste into the Ganga. Imposing of heavy fine if caught disposing in-disposable toxic material into the Ganga. Setting up of clean-up centers every 50 Kms. No disposal of dead bodies into the river. Proper cleaning of the bed of the Ganga will increase the flow of the river. Puja offerings are not be thrown in the river, rather, collected, burnt and then may be disposed off in the river with the supervision of the delegated authorities.
we should not allow any kind of waste products in the holy ganga & we should plant numerous plants such as neem& others near the bank of the river . It will make the area pollution free and also save the banks from falling in the water
People should be prohibited from putting any waste in Ganga! Else this would stop the tourist attraction forever! also...stop burning bodies and throwing them in Ganga water! we cant let such beliefs ruin Her!
