How can it be ensured that not only does the arrival of tourists increase but also the Ganga remains clean?
Government must take strict actions about throwing wastage & using Ganga ghats for many religious activities. For such activities the other places should be provided. The Industry waste should be strictly prohibited to throw in to Ganga river.
Govt Increase the number of Toilets near the Ganga river and maintain it.Morever, dead bodies should not be allowed to throw in the river. Concern is Kanpur. The Industry Polluted water should not directly be thrown into the river. Proper Sewage system should be made and action must be taken.
Dear friends
It is always truth that if we respect our religion then we obtain that other person also respect our religion.
Thats why if we present a symbol of unity like to clean, there is still not only clean and our government also make a law for industries situated near ganga to protect his waste and hazardous materials to throwing in ganga.
And our villagers living near ganga not throwing his pollutants.
And we are well trained about pollutants of water.
So we difinately clean ganga
Sir it is important to learn how River Themes was cleaned up. It is really useful to draw project plan and then we can go ahead. It is every Indians wish to join all rivers and make our country a super power.
1) Dedicated space with four walls (like kund receiving fresh water from river) thus divided from main river to perform the rituals and should be filtered to collect garbage daily, with mechanised fish net system
2) Stop depositing chemical water in Ganga instead install one common mega water affluent system for all factories to clean the waste water and to reuse
3) Revamp the ghat like a marine drive in bombay with proper sitting and start clean water transport system
To Clean Ganga Task IS Extremely Important and for that we all have to come together specially locals who live near Ganga we have to find alternate way for waste by human and industries rather then linking to ganga some other way by which we can keep it clean we have to stop all dirty rituals which is taken place near to it for that also some alternate method to used we have to put this topics to schools colleges from where we can get new ideas for alternate method to avoid our waste to Ganga
You need to ensure that only clean water reaches Ganga. For that industries and municipalities need to be encouraged to mandatorily have Sewage Treatment Plants. Probably a subsidy would help. Again supply of power to STPs need to be ensured. Wind power and solar power are the only means to achieve this. Hence this source of energy need to be part of STP package.
You also need to prevent soil erosion by flood. River embankment needs to be made part of MNREGA. Drainage of flood water is an issue
Ganges is dirty because pollution control board is unable to stop pollution.........???? Those resposible for polluting ganges hae to be provided alternate methodes of waste disposal with effluent treatment plants.
Well I had the privilege of visiting Ganga in Allahabad and really astonished to see so much filth and dirt pouring into the river. We went from Hyderabad thinking that the river is sacred and fit for cleansing our sins. But on reaching the bathing ghat, we really thought twice. On the advise of elders we had the bath with difficulty. I think the local drains must be stopped. Those who are using the boats should not spit inside the river. And dead bodies should not be dumbed after little pyre.
We have to use wastewater and sewage to produce proteins and fish meal and let only clean water reaches Ganga or the water recirculated. We use highly efficient aquatic micro-plants. Latest profit making tech.
