Ensure greater tourism as well as cleaner Ganga

How can it be ensured that not only does the arrival of tourists increase but also the Ganga remains clean?
I think that to make our Clean Ganga Drive sustainable, we should encourage the locally unemployed youth along the river bank and adjacent cities n towns to, take up responsibility and make them do the tasks related to keeping the river clean and make it their means of livelihood, or that matter, a means of secondary income. Also to make a system, authority or mechanism to ensure they do the work and that their remuneration is paid to them on a regular basis.
Jai Hind!
The first thing, we should do is restructure the small paths (Gallis) by putting good concrete ways. Ensure that cows do not graze over there. Take up dilapidated buildings and redevelop as tourist lodges with old style of architecture.
Stop Industrial and sewege wastes from entering the river. Can we not find a way of neutralising those effluents and discharge it in the land itself? Why to discharge them in the river?? Please educate the so called religious people what they are doing in the name of religion and spoil and kill the river Ganga.
to increase arrival of tourist it is necessary to create a tourist rout around the towns situated on the bank of holy river ganga it would be better if tourist can go in such type of tourist places travelling in river. it is also seen than in summer season rhe streem of ganga disapears due to lack of water. streem of ganga should be in natural flow in each weather. flow of ganga can naturally clean it's water.
The putrid stench emanating from the GANGA is too great for us to ignore .
Sitting MPs need to get into action and construct a gravity sewer system. This project that carries sewage and filth out of GANGA and discharges it further down the estuary. Although this raw waste originally emitted straight into the water can be incinerated on-site to create green electricity.
This gravity powered sewers are inspired solution to the GANGA woes and be formed as the catalyst for the GANGA recovery.
in kanpur city river ganga is more polluted due 2 outfall of city Drain nala, polluttent of tannery.to control this a large sewage treatment plant (STP) should be constructed in land of ABANDONED TAFCO OR LAND OF ELGIN MILL 2 (right bank of river ganga). in this there will be no land aquisition , because along river ganga from ranighat to paramat temple land of BIC(British India corporation) is there without any use.also encroachment in this land is continued.this land belong to India govt.
For cleaning of Maa Ganga three steps should be taken-
1) Pollution Control At Source- means sewage or industrial wastage or wastage of cities/ metro cities not to be allowed to meet Maa Ganga at any cost.
2) Increasing Bio-Diversity of Maa Ganga- By feeding tortoise & fishes in the streams and Ghats
already deposited pollutants can be removed. Any type of fishing should be strictly prohibited.
3) Awareness- By making plastic free zones at ghats and tourists should be given oath.
