Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

Oil and gas prices are at historic lows. They will go up as demand from India, China etc grows. The opportunity exists for GOI to encourage PSUs like ONGC, IOC, BPCL, to buy equity and management rights in emerging oil and gas entities in countries like Russia, Iran, former USSR. Enter into 30 year forward contracts for guaranteed purchases of half their future production at current USD prices adjusted for US annual CPI increases. If the INR appreciates in future there will be a double benefit.

First of all, the local communities were to be discussed regarding the subjective details over the intuition of E & P operations. Furthermore, assured with the provision of the resources unbiased.

Besides these "under-water wind mills" we can also consider solar energy, my suggestion is that all the Govt. offices must utilize solar energy for their activities, now a days a whole airport is powered by solar energy so that is not a big deal.

These countries do not have much maritime coastline, however India has 7500 km maritime coastline. If India Government decided to established "Under-water wind Turbine" in this 7500 km maritime space, then i am sure we do not need any fossil fuel based Electricity Plant. Good thing is, this produced electricity would be RENEWABLE ELECTRICITY.

(2)In Scotland, similar type of Under-water turbines are being integrated successfully. Few Global Intuition's working on it are below:- (1) Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) with Toshiba and partner company IHI launch a research program that will investigate current power by floating kite turbines in the Kuroshio Current in Japan. The research work is expected to prove the viability of ocean energy power generation. http://motherboard.vice.com/read/japan-is-building-underwater-kites-to-harness-the-ocean-current-for-power

Their is immense potential of generating ‘Clean Never-Ending’ electricity from 7500 km long Indian coastline by means of “Ocean Current Energy”, “Ocean Wave Energy”, “Offshore Wind Energy” technologies. Various countries are using these technologies and doing researching in the same field.

We are losing huge fuels while passing through the toll booths due to enough waiting time as well as huge number of peoples are involved in it. My suggestion is that Government should take the money ( state-wise / nationally) the entire amount of toll collection during renewal of insurance and pay to the respective authority. This way we can get out of the pain of waiting for more than half an hours as well as can save fuel.

Why central govt is not reducing petrol prices?. Is it that our govt had not heard of the news that international oil price is on a 11 year low. Why our govt is not moving the benefit to it people?. Are they working for oil tycoons of India?. Is it the ache din they are propagating?. It is 37.19 dollars now for a barrel and you are increasing excise duty!. Dear PM, you are answerable for all these queries of a common man. Pass on these benefits to poor people of India.
