It is estimated that there are one billion people with disabilities worldwide who face many barriers in order to participate in all aspects of society and the population of PwDs in India as per Census 2011 is around 2.68 crore (2.2% of total population). The result is that People with Disabilities do not enjoy access to society on an equal basis with others, including transportation, employment, education, justice and political participation.

The right to participate in public life is essential to create democracies and citizenship. Yet, this fundamental right is very often denied to Persons with Disabilities. The United Nations Convention on the rights of Persons with Disabilities requires all states parties to promote and protect the political rights of all Persons with Disabilities.

Alliopathic medicine suffers from star doctors having big egos so those with new breakthroughs are not looked at and distroyed. While ayurveda has recorded history of curing schizophernia from 1000 BC in writing homeopathy also understand viewpoint of ayurveda so it too cures. To cure schiophernia you have to break existing theory of medical science and take entirely new viewpoint which goes against basic foundations and tenants of modern medical science.

Apart schizophernia happens to financially weak side of society from all strata and casts and religion and people with history of suffering from domestic violence mainly at hands of females in household. Schiophernia is just tretable by modern medicine but ayurveda and homeopathy combine has proven methods to cure them. Majority people suffering can be cured. Because modern medicines understanding of schizophernia has too many loopholes.

Sir kindly pass pending bill in parliament for providing healthcare to mentally ill persons and denying them medicine a crime. Because in India such people are kept in closet by families and slowly starved and tortured to death such people need immediate help from goverment. Apart you are steadily facing epidemic of mentally ill people it will be a economic disaster. I read in a newspaper article that nearly 10% of population in India is suffering from some form of schizophernia at certain point

We psychologist I would ie to talk about the mental retardation/disablity the problem with mental disablity is people in the society think that these disable people are only making mockery, they don't get empathy or sympathy as physically disabled people. Though government is trying to do many thing for these people but private sector should also come in that area as there 1 to 2 percent people are there having mental problems. We have to work hand in hand and we have to create awareness.

Mananiya Pradhan Mantri Ji, I am a Physically Handicapped with 60 % of permanent disability. I want to request you to make some amendments in parliament to empower us with more Job Quotas & Security, in Government Jobs,& even in Clerical Jobs in Defence/Police and also in Private Jobs, as most of us, like me, work in Private Sector where we do not get equal job opportunity and Job Security in life. Also help us to get more benefits & facilities in Trains, Buses and in Flights too. Best Regards.
