Erode City Municipal Corporation (ECMC) in now gearing up for the Round II of Smart city challenge to enhance its Smart City Proposal prepared in Round I. This exercise is being carried out under the Government of India’s flagship program for developing Smart Cities in India.
Citizens and stakeholders are requested to post their views and suggestions on how to make enhance the smart city proposal. Kindly give suggestions for improvement of services within the city with focus on physical and social infrastructure plans. The citizens may organize their thoughts on the following topics
a. City Spatial Structure, Transportation and Green Spaces
b. Energy, Water, Waste Water and Environment
c. Housing, Health, Education, Security, Law and Order
d. Citizen Engagement, Smart Solutions and IT-led service delivery
The proposal submitted by ECMC in round 1 is attached for reference and ECMC requests its citizens to comment.
